Their wedding took place in late April at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.
We first met Kevin and Kelly at the Wedding Salon show in early April. We first met with Kelley and her mom, I was pregnant with Arianna at this show and yes I was starting to show. Kelly's mom was so uplifting and we chatted about her big girl getting married, but more importantly we connected, the thing that always bonds us women is motherhood. From that point onwards Kevin and Kelly were one of our most favorite couples. Kelly loved all things peonies and she was getting married in late April where those flowers are plentiful. She was also getting married at the Botanical Gardens, which as a florist is exciting and in a way, I felt like a way for me to pay back as I trained for years at the floral school.
Kelly was easy, she was organized and had a clear sense of what she wanted; she shared her pinterest boards, her magazine cutouts and digital images of things she drew inspiration from.
Together we designed a beautiful wedding, Kelly's colors were all natural soft palettes with a focus on blush tones. Her flower selection rested on hydrangeas, peonies, ranunculus, & garden roses
